Eating at the Dunk Island Restaurant

Set right at the end of the jetty, Dunk Island’s new restaurant is where island days unfold over good food, sea breezes and relaxed, barefoot dining.

Open Wednesday to Saturday from 8am to 8pm and Sundays from 8am to 4pm, the restaurant will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast and lunch are casual and walk-in friendly – no reservations required. Simply arrive, take a seat and settle into island time. For overnight guests, dinner reservations are requested so our team can plan staffing levels and deliver a smooth, unhurried experience as the sun sets.

For guests who prefer to cook their own feast, our Mix & Match Self Cook BBQ Packs are a relaxed and flexible option. Build your meal with a selection of meats, bread rolls, salads and condiments perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Packs can be ordered online in advance or purchased in person at the restaurant, making it easy to dine your way.

Just steps away, our BBQ picnic area invites a more casual island experience. Featuring four free electric BBQs and picnic tables, it’s the ideal spot to gather with friends or family, fire up the grill and enjoy an easy meal by the sea. Mix it up with a BBQ pack or bring your own supplies and make a moment of it.

All visitors to Dunk Island are welcome to bring their own food and drinks for the duration of their stay. Please note that outside food and beverages cannot be consumed within the restaurant.

From jetty side dining to DIY BBQs under the palms, dining at Dunk is all about choice, ease and the simple pleasure of eating in paradise.
